What is it?
The DELE Spanish diplomas are official qualifications accrediting the degree of competence and mastery of the Spanish language granted by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Spain.
The repertoire of linguistic contents that can be included in the DELE exams is included in the document Curricular Plan of the Instituto Cervantes. Reference Levels for Spanish (NRE), developed by the Instituto Cervantes based on the CEFR descriptors.
DELE diplomas are internationally recognized and enjoy great prestige, not only among public and private educational institutions and authorities, but also in the business world and among chambers of commerce. They are an official guarantee in the evaluation and certification of language skills in Spanish.
What does it consist of?
The tasks of each test are contextualized in the personal, public, educational and professional spheres, and its objective is to certify the degree of general linguistic competence in Spanish.
To obtain a PASS grade in the DELE A1-C1 it is necessary to obtain a PASS (30 points) in both qualifying groups. To obtain a PASS grade in the DELE C2 it is necessary to obtain a PASS grade (20 points) in each of the three tests.
